I currently work at Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc.
in Torrance, California where I work
in the Strategic Financial Analysis Group. In that group we look at North American profitability and trends, and are also
responsible for strategic communications within the company. Although I currently work in the Finance Group, I actually
have a project management background. I worked for Accenture
in Chicago for four years after
graduating from Carnegie Mellon University
in Pittsburgh, PA.
I am also in the Fully Employed MBA program at UCLA's Anderson School
of Management where I am also earning an Advanced International Management Certificate as I focus on issues of International Business.
This interest in international business stems from what I did before joining Toyota. For three years prior to moving back
to Los Angeles I lived in Beijing, China. There I taught English, Business English, and Intercultural Communications to
students of all levels and ages. I also met my wife in Beijing, and am fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
I will be graduating from the Anderson School on June 11, 2010, and will then have to figure out what to do with all of
the free time I will have.
